I have finally added
some photos of some old Chicago graffiti.
There used to be quite a few walls on the North Side of the
city that you could paint legally when ever you wanted but these
walls have long since dried up. Who knows if there will ever
be walls like this again.
Why is this stuff on this page? Couldn't it be in the paintings
section? The answer is yes but the following images were all
painted exclusively with spray paint and were painted outdoors
on public walls in public places which according to webster's
definition qualifies it as graffiti. That said, the lines are
definitely blurry but without a doubt graff deserves it's own
section. Most of this stuff is old but the very first thumb
nail was done in mid August of this year. Yes the can control
is a little rusty. |
